The Band RED The word "red" has many meanings around the world, including beauty, fire, passion, friendship, and love. Regine Fisher's band RED celebrates all of these by forging the music of Jamaica, France, Russia, and the United States into an unusual and elegant combination of jazz, folk, soul, rock, reggae, and classical music. The tunes are catchy, the reggae beat contemporary, and the lyrics address human nature with understanding and humor. RED reflects the multicultural nature of America, and the lyrics are performed in three languages: English, French, and Russian. RED has performed at various venues along the East Cost, most notably at CBGB's 1313 Gallery in New York City and at the 9:30 Club as finalists in the Lilith Fair Singer/Songwriter Competition.
